The Spannagel Cave and the Ice Palace in Hintertux are a popular meeting place for adventure-seeking explorers. The outdoor offer of the Playarena ensures varied and adrenaline-charged holidays for kids & teens. Whether summer skiing, mountain bike tours, e-bike tours or hiking programs, there is something for everyone. Absolutely recommendable for (large) families! It was our second time (2 adults and 3 boys) and we enjoyed our stay again! The hotel is perfect for families, the staff is super friendly and always tries to fulfill all wishes and for us the most important thing: you feel welcome as a whole family! Both children and parents get their money's worth here. The holiday for next year is already planned and we are all looking forward to it!

Our mascot, Kurt the Glacier Worm, regularly invites young guests on fun rides to the Tux Valley farms with our miniature train. Children playfully discover the Tux Valley and experience exciting adventures involving animals, nature, and agriculture.
Is there much to do in the summer without a car?
Yes – many hiking trails, mountain lifts, family activities, and bus stops are located nearby. Many guests arrive and leave their cars parked for the entire vacation. The hiking bus to Mayrhofen stops right near the hotel and is free for our guests.
