Spring is a glorious time. The sun is gaining more and more power. In the valley, nature awakens from hibernation. On the Hintertux Glacier, however, you have 100% snow guarantee and fantastic slope conditions. And someone else is waking up from hibernation. Our panoramic train "Kurt the Glacier Worm" is touring through the Tux Valley again. He takes our guests and their children to the Tux farm and many other destinations.
Very nice, family-run hotel in the immediate vicinity of the cable car to the glacier. Attentive, uncomplicated hosts are always there. Outstanding cuisine. Extremely friendly service team. You just feel good here and don't like to go home, but you're very satisfied all round. We'll be back for sure.
Spring and early summer in Tuxertal are simply wonderful for hiking. The first unforgettable mountain tours invite our guests to experience nature. As part of our weekly program, you can explore our valley and the alpine playgrounds and themed trails are open again from around mid-June, depending on the weather and snow conditions. The summer program of the Zillertal Alps Nature Park also starts in May – the guided hikes are included in the price for our guests.
