A stay in Hintertux and especially in the Hotel Hintertuxerhof is simply good: The top location at 1,500 m above sea level has a liberating and revitalizing effect, the air contains few allergens and is pleasantly fresh even in summer. In winter, the perfectly groomed valley run leads directly to our hotel. In addition, the practice slope of the ski school is only a few steps behind our house. Good to know: We guarantee 100% snow reliability on the Hintertux Glacier. By car: Inntal motorway (A12) – Exit Wiesing-Zillertal, Main road (B169) to Mayrhofen, turn right direction Hintertux (from motorway exit Zillertal to Hintertux about 50 km). The Tuxer country road between Mayrhofen and Hintertux is well accessible the whole year through. Weight limit for the car is 16 tons, max. head room 4,2 meters.

Important in winter season: The obligation for snow tires in Austria is valid each year from 1.11. to the 15.4. In case of snow or ice snow chains are obligatory! For diesel cars: Please make sure that your fuelled winter diesel has a sufficiently low CFPP value. In doubt, just ask directly at your gas station .

This is what it looks like, the perfect ski holiday. Leave the car at home and ski or snowboard from the Hintertux Glacier ski area via the valley run right to the hotel door. With us at the Kinder- & Gletscherhotel Hintertuxerhof, this is not a dream but reality. The valley run "Schwarze Pfanne" leads directly to the hotel. In addition, the practice lift for the Tuxertal Ski School is right behind our house. Beginners and little ski kids only have a few steps to enjoy skiing. You can also easily reach the Zillertal3000 ski area with the ski bus. Even in summer, the hiking bus takes you comfortably and reliably to your mountain activities.
