Tux Advent

On the first advent Sunday, the annual Tux Advent for families takes place in the village square in Tux-Lanersbach from 3 p.m. When the first snow wraps the villages of Tux and Finkenberg in an idyllic coat, it will warm your heart. Because then the Christmas and Santa time is not far away! Stands decorated for Christmas offer culinary delights as well as punch, mulled wine, tea or coffee.

Or take a piece of Advent home with you in the form of Advent wreaths, Christmas arrangements, homemade cookies or „Doggln“ – handmade felt slippers. At a later hour, when it gets dark, St. Nicholas and his companions move into the village. In the afternoon, Christmas-decorated stands offer biscuits, mulled wine, punch, chestnuts, tents, local delicacies, Doggln, Advent wreaths, Christmas arrangements and much more.

Once a week Christmas market at the Klausnerhof in Hintertux

To make it even more atmospheric in Hintertux, the Hotel Klausnerhof (approx. 10 minutes‘ walk from the Hintertuxerhof) organizes a Christmas market once a week during advent. Local farmers offer homemade delicacies such as Tyrolean bacon, cheese, jams and liqueurs on the stands. Cookies baked with love, mulled wine, punch and children’s punch are in the mood for the best time and also musically everything is in the sign of the romantic Tyrolean Advent season. Christmas week at the Hintertuxerhof

Spend Christmas Eve with us in Hintertux and enjoy the cosiness of the Christmas week with all the comforts of our house. Already a few days before Christmas Eve, the „Weisenbläser“ bring a Christmas mood to our house. We then spend Christmas Eve with handing out Christmas presents and the fantastic Hintertuxerhof gala menu. A visit to the children’s mass in Tux frames the Christmas feeling of wellbeing. The Christmas holiday is of course rounded off with fantastic piste experiences and guaranteed snow on the Hintertux Glacier. You can also spend wonderful Christmas holidays away from the ski slopes, for example with a toboggan ride, a winter walk or a snowshoe hike.
