The family hotel Hintertuxerhof in the Zillertal has been owned by the Kofler family for over 50 years. Ludwig Klausner laid the foundation for today's 4-star hotel in 1958 when he built the Auenhof in Hintertux. Max and Helga Kofler then converted the Auenhof into a hotel in 1968. In the mid-1980s, Haus Tyrol was added to the Hotel Hintertuxerhof. In 2000, the next generation, Christian Kofler and his wife Agnes, took over what was then a 3-star hotel. With Christian Jr. and his wife Katharina are now the 3rd generation at the start of the hotel management.
Our employees are very important to us. Everyone does their part to ensure that our guests go home with a smile after their holiday and say thank you for the wonderful days in our house.
