For more than 50 years the Hotel Hintertuxerhof in Hintertux has now been owned and run by the Kofler family. Ludwig Kofler was the one to build the "Auenhof" in Hintertux in 1958. Max Kofler, today’s senior director, reconstructed the "Auenhof", making it the "Hintertuxerhof" in 1968. In the 1980s a second house - the “Haus Tirol - was added. In 2000, Christian Kofler took over the hotel management of this beautiful 3 star hotel and is today leading it together with his family - with great success! In 2012 the hotel Hintertuxerhof got the grade 3 star superior hotel.
